Return & Exchange Policy

Returns and Exchanges

It’s our aim to provide a hassle free return service for you. If you’re not completely satisfied with an item, you may return it within 30 days from the date you pick up your order or the shipment date. We will accept our products for a refund or exchange within 30 days of the purchase date, with the exception of special order, non-regular stock items, and Non Refundable Items (See "Return Conditions" below). Bicycles have their own unique return policy (See "Bicycle Return Policy" below). 

Return shipping is not provided for online orders unless we shipped the wrong item or the item is damaged or defective upon delivery.  We will refund shipping costs on damaged or incorrect merchandise.  Please ship returns via Ground UPS or insured US Mail (we do not accept CODs). When shipping we suggest using a traceable shipping service and purchase shipping insurance. 

Returns over $100 must have a return authorization number clearly marked on the outside of the package or the item will be refused.  If you’d like to return an item, please fill out the RMA Request form. Please indicate your order number and reason for your return. Your order number can be found in your order confirmation email.  You will receive an email from us with a Return Authorization Number (RA#) within 2 business days.  

Return Conditions

  • Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition as sold. All packing materials, accessories and documentation must be included, and clothing must have all tags attached. 
  • Proof of Purchase Required: Please retain your printed receipt or online confirmation for proof of purchase. 
  • Product Condition: We do not accept returns on items which can not be resold as new.
  • Non Refundable Items: On Sale or Closeout Items, Labor Fees, Gift Cards, Car Racks, Cycling Shorts, Trainers, Tools, GPS Devices or Electronics, Food/Nutrition, Body Care items including Chamois Creams, Sun Screens, or Recovery lotions which include CBD products.
  • Time: You have 30 days from pick up your order or the shipment date to request a refund.
  • Cancellations: Once your order has been shipped it cannot be canceled
  • Return Shipping Charges: Return shipping is not provided for online orders unless we shipped the wrong item or the item is damaged or defective upon delivery.
  • Ordered Wrong Item: If you need a different product, size or color please return your items for a refund within the 30 day return period and place a new order . We’ll process your refund promptly upon receiving your returned items. Placing a new order will ensure that you’ll get your new items quickly and that it won’t go out of stock.
  • Method and Time of Refund: Refund will be applied to the original form of payment and may take up to 7 business days from the time your product is received.
  • Manufacture Returns: Some manufactures require you contact them directly for warranty or replacement.   Please consult the warranty information provided with the product to determine who to contact
  • RMA Approval: All returned products will be thoroughly inspected and a determination will be made if eligibility and conditions are met. Please verify the product you are returning meets the conditions and qualifies for return to avoid any delay in, or denial of, processing your return.  If an item does not meet the conditions, Black Mountain Bicycles reserves the right to deny return or charge a restocking fee up to 30% at BMB's discretion. 
  • Refund Contact Info: Contact us in-store or by email for a refund. You can find store hours, address, email and phone number on our store details page. Please email for a Return Authorization!  

Bicycle Return Policy

  • Bicycles Bought In-Store: All bicycle sales are non-refundable (unless pre-approved and noted on receipt), but are exchangeable per managers approval. Bikes must be returned within 7 days and in showroom condition if an exchange is agreed upon.  A 20% restocking fee will apply to any returned bicycle if an exchange cannot be agreed upon. 
  • Shipped Bicycles & Frames: No returns are accepted on shipped bicycles or frames. No exceptions.
