Nicole Jaeger's Ride Across America To Raise Money For Cancer Research

We had the pleasure of working with Nicole for 8 years while she was putting herself through medical school here in San Diego. She's spent time in the front helping customers on the sales floor as well as time in the back wrenching on bikes. She's incredibly hardworking, positive, and determined, and she's like family to us.

Keep reading to learn more about her inspiring mission, or head right to the fundraising page to see how you can make a difference and support her cause.

The Ride: Portland OR to Ann Arbor MI

On July 1st 2022, Nicole will set out with her friend and co-pilot Sylvia Maas on a 2,500 mile ride from the shores of Portland, Oregon to Ann Arbor Michigan.

She'll ride self-supported, carrying everything she needs day to day on her bike, covering an average of around a 100 miles per day.

The Cause: Head And Neck Cancer Research

Researchers estimate that more than 65,000 people will be told they have head and neck cancer this year, and the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center is on the forefront of research that will help.

Nicole will be raising money to support research at this institution and apply donations to the use of the latest surgical and radiotherapy techniques that can help to save and improve lives.

The Reason Behind The Ride

Nicole's father's own battle with cancer led her to leave corporate America in 2021 to pursue a new career as a Physical Therapist, and she's dedicating this effort and the funds that are raised to him.
